McPherson, Kansas

A small community that grows big industry

The CompetitiveReady Seal is just the most recent achievement in McPherson’s long string of efforts to strengthen their business community. Back in 1959, long before most farm-based communities gave it a thought, McPherson recognized a need to diversify their economy. Through a unique private partnership led by the business community, they developed 6 industrial parks over the years. Today McPherson is home to over 50 manufacturers.
